Pickaway County, OH – A single-vehicle rollover crash on April 20, 2024, resulted in the tragic loss of sixty-nine-year-old Michael G. Dille of Circleville, Ohio, according to Sheriff Matthew O. Hafey.

The incident unfolded around 8:57 A.M. when the Pickaway County Communications Center received a distressing 911 call regarding a rollover crash in the vicinity of State Route 361 and Kingston Pike.

Upon arrival at the scene, deputies discovered a 2005 white Chevrolet overturned on its side. Tragically, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Michael G. Dille, had been ejected from the vehicle during the crash.

Investigations revealed that Dille was traveling southbound on Kingston Pike when he failed to negotiate a right-hand curve near State Route 361. The vehicle ultimately came to rest on all four wheels in the grassy area between Kingston Pike and State Route 361.

Dille was swiftly taken to Adena Regional Medical Center for urgent medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, Dille succumbed to his injuries sustained in the crash.

Sheriff Hafey expressed gratitude to Green Township EMS, Pickaway Township Fire and EMS, Saltcreek-Tarlton Fire Department, and Med-Flight for their swift response and assistance at the scene of the tragic accident.

The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash to ascertain further details.
