An outpouring of community support is lifting up a local family facing a long road to recovery after a severe car accident turned their world upside down.
Taylor and Dylan McGee, devoted parents to three young daughters—Kora, Nova, and Luna—were involved in a severe crash on a October afternoon. By the grace of God, both parents are thankfully expected to make a full recovery, but they face significant medical and financial challenges before returning to normalcy.
What began as a small grassroots effort has rapidly snowballed into a major community fundraiser scheduled for November 15, with organizers noting that community members are stepping up with “insane donations.”
Big-Ticket Auction and Raffle Items Added
Organizers have announced several high-value items up for grabs to benefit the family, including:
- Columbus Blue Jackets VIP Package: A prime “Great Night Out” at Nationwide Arena featuring two lower-bowl seats (Section 110, Row D, Seats 1 and 2) to watch the Blue Jackets take on the Seattle Kraken on Thursday, December 17, 2026, at 7:00 P.M.
- All-Inclusive Tropical Getaway: A 6-day, 5-night trip for two to the Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort and Spa in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, donated by Tabby’s Tropical Travels. The package includes beachfront access, all-inclusive meals, drinks, pools, spa access, and activities.
- Gift Cards and Baskets: A $750 Visa gift card raffle and a specialty liquor basket raffle.
