COMMERCIAL POINT, Ohio — Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle, head-on collision early Friday morning near Commercial Point that left one person critically injured and required an air ambulance transport.
Dispatchers received a call reporting the crash at approximately 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of State Route 104 and Commercial Point Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found two injured individuals involved in the wreck. Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, crews requested a medical helicopter, which airlifted one patient to a regional trauma center. Emergency personnel transported a second individual by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation.
The identity and current conditions of those involved have not yet been released.
Authorities have not reported the cause of the crash or determined which vehicle drifted over the center line. The incident remains under active investigation by local law enforcement, and additional details will be provided as they become available.
