Circleville Man Seriously Injured After Pickup Truck Crashes Into Concrete Wall

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A Circleville man was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon after the pickup truck he was driving left the roadway and crashed into a concrete wall.

According to a Circleville Police Department crash report, the collision occurred at approximately 4:24 p.m. July 29 near the Court Street Connector and South Court Street.

Police said a 2018 Ford F-150 was traveling east on the Court Street Connector and had stopped at the intersection with South Court Street. The truck then accelerated through the intersection, traveled off the roadway to the left and struck a concrete wall.

The driver, identified as 41-year-old Brice S. Quincel of Circleville, was injured in the crash.

Circleville EMS responded to the scene, and Quincel was transported by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for treatment.

The crash report lists the driver’s condition as an injury requiring medical transport. The report also indicates that alcohol or drug impairment was not identified as a contributing factor, although testing information in the report was limited.a Medical Episode was possible cause of the crash.

The Ford F-150 sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Circleville Police Officer R.J. Martin investigated the crash. The roadway remained closed while emergency crews and police worked at the scene, with the investigation concluding at approximately 6:17 p.m.

No other vehicles or occupants were involved.
