UTICA, Ohio — Families looking for a weekend of summer entertainment can head to Ye Olde Mill in Utica this weekend for Velvet Ice Cream’s annual Cars, Crafts & Cones event.
The two-day event is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 8, and Sunday, Aug. 9, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free, with activities planned for visitors of all ages.
The weekend will feature live music, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, horse-drawn carriage rides, face painting, cotton candy and plenty of Velvet Ice Cream.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to try Star Spangled Swirl, Velvet Ice Cream’s exclusive 2026 Ohio State Fair flavor. The flavor is available at Ye Olde Mill and at the Ohio State Fair.
Saturday’s activities will include the Rev & Refresh Rod Run Car Show, featuring a collection of classic and custom vehicles.
Sunday will bring Sundae Fun Day, with family activities including inflatables, a complimentary performance by Performance Dogs of Ohio, a touch-a-truck experience and arts and crafts vendors featuring handmade products.

Parking is available on-site for $5 per vehicle.
Ye Olde Mill is located at 11324 Mount Vernon Road, Utica, Ohio 43080. Admission to Cars, Crafts & Cones is free.
