Stolen Vehicle Recovered & Warrant Arrest
Stolen Vehicle Stop: Late Sunday evening at 8:54 PM, eagle-eyed patrol officers successfully located and stopped a vehicle that had been entered into law enforcement databases as stolen. The stop occurred on North Bridge Street, and an active investigation is ongoing.
Warrant Arrest: Earlier in the evening, at 5:50 PM, officers tracked down and arrested Raymond Parker on East 2nd Street. Parker was taken into custody without further incident on an active, outstanding warrant.
Multiple Sunday Thefts Reported
Chillicothe police responded to three separate theft complaints on Sunday afternoon:
River Trace Lane: At 1:00 PM, officers were dispatched to a property in the 80 block of River Trace Lane regarding a theft without consent.
North Rose Street: At 2:37 PM, a patrol unit was diverted to a residence at 90 North Rose Street, where a formal theft report was processed.
Kroger Shoplifting: At 4:31 PM, police rushed to the Kroger supermarket at 887 N. Bridge Street after receiving a call about a shoplifting incident that had just occurred. Officers are currently reviewing evidence to identify the suspect.
