Warrant Arrest, Assault Investigation Among Incidents in Circleville Police Activity

The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of calls throughout the city on May 13, 2026, including a warrant arrest, assault investigation, property damage report, and multiple traffic stops.

Police made a warrant arrest on Fisher Road shortly after midnight. Another warrant-related call was reported on U.S. 23 later in the morning, but the subject was gone upon officers’ arrival.

Officers also investigated an assault complaint on Clark Drive during the afternoon hours. A separate property damage report was later taken at the same location.

A suspicious person and well-being check call on Lancaster Pike resulted in a squad transporting an individual to a hospital. Another well-being check on Wintergreen Drive was handled by another agency.

Police responded to a hit-skip crash with no injuries reported just before noon. A report was taken.

Additional calls throughout the day included threats and harassment complaints, an open door investigation on Barnes Avenue, a dirt bike/ATV complaint on Watt Street, miscellaneous complaints, and several alarm drops on U.S. 23 and South Court Street that were determined to be okay.

Emergency crews also responded to a fire call on Caroline Court and a natural gas or electric complaint on East Main Street. Both incidents were cleared without further issues reported.

Traffic enforcement activity included multiple stops resulting in warnings on North and South Court streets, while a citation was issued following a stop on Pontius Road.

Officers conducted numerous extra patrols across the city during the overnight and evening hours, including patrol checks on West Main Street, North Court Street, and East Main Street.

In total, the department handled 33 incidents during the reporting period.
