CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department handled a wide range of calls on April 9, 2026, including a warrant arrest, an injury crash, a reported burglary, and multiple incidents requiring emergency medical response.

Early Morning Arrest and Crash with Injuries

The day began with routine patrol activity along U.S. Route 23 before officers made a warrant arrest on South High Street just after 3:20 a.m.

Later in the morning, emergency crews were dispatched to Walnut Creek Pike for a crash involving injuries, with at least one person transported to the hospital.

Morning Calls Include Runaway, Fire, and Traffic Stops

Officers also responded to a runaway report on Chatham Road, while a well-being check on Faye Avenue was cleared without issue.

A potentially dangerous situation involving a natural gas or electrical issue on Tower Court was quickly contained.

Traffic enforcement efforts led to citations being issued during stops on U.S. Route 23 and Crites Road.

Midday Incidents: Dog Bite, Suspicious Activity, and Crash

As the day progressed, officers took a threats and harassment report on East Ohio Street and responded to several juvenile complaints across the city.

Multiple Medical Calls and Late-Night Activity

  • A mental health-related call on Pleasant Street, resulting in hospital transport
  • A fire and squad response on East Mound Street, with a patient transported
  • An open door call on North Court Street that also resulted in a squad transport

Late-night activity included reports of a suspicious vehicle and person, though some individuals were gone before officers arrived.
