AMANDA, Ohio (April 3, 2026) — Amanda-Clearcreek Local Schools welcomed Kevin D. Miller for a visit on April 1, giving the lawmaker an inside look at classrooms, student programs, and recent facility upgrades across the district.
Miller spent time touring multiple buildings and grade levels, interacting directly with students and staff while observing a variety of educational experiences.

One highlight of the visit included an interview conducted by student Addison Singleton, part of the district’s Career Tech information technology pathway. Miller also visited an A-C High School biology class, where students demonstrated the use of the Anatomage table, an advanced 3D medical education tool that simulates real human anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
At the elementary level, Miller’s visit coincided with the school’s “Day of Play” at A-C Primary. The event focuses on helping young students build social and communication skills through structured play and group interaction. Miller also toured preschool classrooms and STEM learning spaces, gaining a firsthand look at early education programs.
Superintendent Dr. Timothy Edwards said the visit was a valuable opportunity to showcase the district’s work.
“We are incredibly grateful that Representative Miller took time out of his busy schedule to visit our district and see a glimpse of what makes A-C so special,” Edwards said. “The day was a great learning experience for everyone.”
Following the visit, Miller shared his impressions in a social media post, praising the district’s staff, facilities, and students.
“The district has a lot to be proud of, including their highly professional staff, spotless facilities and engaging students I had the privilege of meeting,” Miller said. “It remains an honor to represent the residents of the 69th House District.”
Miller, elected in 2022, represents portions of Fairfield, Perry, and Licking counties and previously served more than 20 years with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
