Circleville Police Respond to Theft, Non-Injury Crash and 37 Calls for Service

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (Feb. 11, 2026) — Circleville Police handled 37 calls for service on Feb. 10, responding to incidents that included a theft report, a non-injury crash, threats and harassment, and multiple traffic stops throughout the city.

The day began shortly before 1 a.m. with a miscellaneous complaint on E. Franklin Street, where officers gathered information. Overnight, police conducted a series of extra patrols on South Pickaway Street, East Union Street, Springhollow Road, Clark Drive, East Circle Lane, Meadow Drive and East Main Street. All areas were checked and found to be secure.

Officers conducted several traffic details during the morning hours along North Court Street, with most resulting in no reports taken or information gathered.

At 8:46 a.m., police attempted to serve civil process papers on Lincoln Avenue but were unable to locate the individual.

A traffic stop on E. Franklin Street at 9:30 a.m. resulted in a warning being issued. Later, officers responded to an alarm drop on E. Ohio Street, which checked out OK, and investigated a possible natural gas or electric issue on Cedar Heights Road that was also found to be safe.

In the early afternoon, a threats and harassment complaint was reported on Clark Drive, and a report was taken. At 2:46 p.m., officers responded to a non-injury crash on South Court Street. A report was completed.

Police also responded to a juvenile complaint on Nicholas Drive at 3:19 p.m. Emergency medical personnel transported one individual to the hospital.

Additional afternoon and evening activity included multiple traffic stops, with both warnings and citations issued on Northridge Road, Mingo Street, East Main Street and North Court Street.

At 5:48 p.m., officers took a theft report on East Union Street. Authorities did not release further details.

Other evening calls included a vehicle repossession on Pontious Lane and West Union Street, a property damage report on U.S. 23, and a suspicious person complaint on Ruth Avenue, where officers were unable to locate anyone upon arrival.

Police also responded to a 911 hang-up call, a property release on E. Franklin Street, and a late-night miscellaneous complaint on Clark Drive, which was cleared without further incident.

No serious injuries were reported during the day’s calls.
