The stage is set for a historic Super Bowl clash as the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks prepare to face off in Super Bowl LX on Sunday, February 8, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET, with live coverage on NBC.
The Patriots enter the championship game with a 17-3 record, while the Seahawks arrive at 16-3. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Seattle is favored by 4.5 points.
For New England, Sunday’s game carries significant historical weight. The Patriots will be making their 12th Super Bowl appearance, the most of any franchise in NFL history. A win would give New England a record-setting seventh Super Bowl title and allow the franchise to surpass the San Francisco 49ers for the most postseason wins all-time.
The Seahawks are appearing in the Super Bowl for the fourth time in franchise history and are seeking their second Lombardi Trophy, having previously captured Super Bowl XLVIII with a dominant win over Denver following the 2013 season.
This matchup also marks a Super Bowl rematch, as New England and Seattle previously met in Super Bowl XLIX following the 2014 season, a game the Patriots won 28–24. The two teams are now the 10th pair in NFL history to meet multiple times on the league’s biggest stage.
The Patriots’ journey to Super Bowl LX has been particularly remarkable. After finishing 4-13 in 2024, New England has become just the fifth team to reach the Super Bowl the season after winning fewer than five games. They also join the 2017 Philadelphia Eagles and 2009 New Orleans Saints as the only teams since realignment to reach the Super Bowl one year after finishing last in their division.
Adding to the spectacle, Bad Bunny will headline the halftime show.
