Chillicothe Police Respond to Warrants, Traffic Crashes, Disorderly Conduct, and Drug Arrests on Feb. 6

CHILLICOTHE, OH (Feb. 7, 2026) — Chillicothe Police officers responded to a variety of incidents on Thursday, February 6, ranging from warrant service and traffic crashes to disorderly conduct and drug-related arrests, according to the department’s daily media report.

Early in the morning, a Chillicothe Police detective assisted the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) with the service of a warrant at a residence on Winona Boulevard.

Later in the morning, officers were dispatched to South Paint Street for a disorderly conduct complaint. That investigation remains ongoing. Police also conducted a traffic enforcement operation near Mill Street focused on stop sign compliance.

Around midday, officers responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Arch Street. Additional traffic-related calls followed, including a crash on North Mulberry Street near Second Street and another incident reported on South Bowman Road.

During the afternoon, police were called to Church Street for a criminal trespass complaint. Officers also responded to a traffic crash on Orange Street after a driver failed to maintain control and struck a stop sign while attempting a turn. The driver was cited for failure to control and advised of a scheduled court appearance.

Additional traffic enforcement occurred on East Main Street near Bridge Street, where a driver was cited for driving under suspension related to a financial responsibility violation and random verification suspension.

Police also handled a non-criminal vehicle complaint on South Watt Street involving an improperly registered vehicle blocking the roadway. The vehicle was towed due to invalid plates and roadway obstruction.

In the early evening, officers responded to a motor vehicle crash near the intersection of Taunton Road and Pawnee Road. That investigation is continuing.

Later in the evening, police were dispatched to East Main Street for a reported domestic dispute involving disorderly conduct. Officers also responded to a hit-skip crash on private property at Sherman Park, where damage to a vehicle was reported.

The day concluded with officers responding to a suspicious vehicle complaint at the Amoco gas station on North Bridge Street. Police say the incident resulted in multiple arrests involving drug abuse instruments and resisting arrest.

In total, Chillicothe Police documented 14 incidents during the reporting period.
