Chillicothe Police Investigate Multiple Incidents Including Disorderly Conduct and Theft

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Chillicothe police officers responded to several calls for service on January 25, ranging from disorderly conduct and trespassing complaints to a reported shoplifting incident, according to the Chillicothe Police Department’s daily media report.

The first incident was reported shortly after 7:20 a.m. when officers responded to the rear parking lot of the Law Enforcement Complex on North Paint Street for a report of a disorderly individual. Officers made contact at the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Later in the morning, around 8:45 a.m., police were dispatched to the area of 69 West Second Street in response to a trespassing complaint. Officers investigated the situation, and the case remains under review.

Around midday, officers were called to a business in the 1400 block of North Bridge Street for a reported theft. According to police, the incident involved shoplifting, and the investigation is continuing.

That evening, at approximately 8:43 p.m., officers responded to a call at the Speedway on East Main Street regarding a threats complaint. Police handled the situation as a criminal trespass investigation, and no further details were immediately released.

All four incidents remain under investigation, and additional information may be released as cases progress.
