CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — As hazardous winter weather approaches, the Hampton Inn in Circleville is stepping up to support those working on the front lines by offering free, warm lodging and refreshments to local first responders and road crews.

With dangerous travel conditions expected during the storm, the hotel is opening its doors to police officers, firefighters, and winter weather road crews, providing a safe place to rest, warm up, or stay overnight rather than risk driving home on icy roads.

The Circleville location joins several other area hotels — including the Hampton Inn & Suites in Newport, Kentucky, Hampton Inn in Green Township, and Tru by Hilton in Sharonville — in extending the same offer to their local emergency personnel.

First responders and road crews are invited to stop in for fresh hot coffee, hot chocolate, and a chance to warm up in the lobby, or to spend the night in a clean, comfortable bed, safely off hazardous roadways.

“They keep us safe, so we’re going to keep them safe — it’s what we do for our communities,” hotel representatives said.

The gesture comes as officials urge residents to limit travel during the storm, highlighting the importance of ensuring emergency crews remain rested, safe, and ready to respond throughout severe winter conditions.
