
CIRCLEVILLE — Circleville police officers were kept busy throughout Tuesday, December 30, responding to a wide range of calls including theft investigations, traffic stops, medical emergencies, and routine patrols across the city.
According to the Circleville Police Department’s daily call-for-service log, officers conducted numerous extra patrols overnight and into the morning hours in neighborhoods including Northridge Road, Clark Drive, Edgewood Drive, East Circle Lane, West Main Street, Rustic Court, Pontious Road, and Lancaster Pike. All extra patrol checks were reported as OK.
Several theft reports were taken during the day, including incidents on Clark Drive, West Main Street, and South Court Street. Details on those investigations were not immediately released.
Police also handled multiple threats and harassment complaints, with reports taken on West Franklin Street and North Washington Street, while another complaint on Villa Drive did not require a formal report.
Emergency calls included several 911 accidental and hang-up calls, all of which were checked and cleared. A medical-related alarm drop on Eva Drive resulted in a patient being transported to the hospital, while another Fire/EMS alarm on Crossing Boulevard was handled on scene without transport.
Traffic enforcement was also a focus during the day, with citations issued during traffic stops on South Court Street and East Main Street, and a warning issued during a stop on Northridge Road. Officers also assisted with a disabled vehicle on Lancaster Pike, which was cleared without incident.
The department reported a total of 29 calls for service throughout the day, reflecting a mix of enforcement, emergency response, and proactive patrol efforts.
