Circleville Police Respond to 34 Calls for Service on Dec. 22, Including Domestic Trouble, Vandalism

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — The Circleville Police Department handled 34 calls for service throughout the day on Monday, Dec. 22, according to the department’s daily media report.

Officers conducted multiple extra patrols during overnight and late-night hours in areas including South Pickaway Street, East Circle Lane, East Corwin Street, West Main Street and Bolens Avenue. All extra patrol checks were reported as clear.

Early in the morning, officers responded to a vehicle lockout on East Mound Street and assisted with a disabled vehicle on South Court Street. A juvenile complaint was also reported on North Court Street, though no report was taken.

Throughout the day, police conducted several traffic stops across the city. Citations were issued on North Court Street, while warnings were issued on East Franklin Street, South Pickaway Street and East Ohio Street. One traffic offense on Lancaster Pike was handled by another agency.

Officers also responded to a variety of community calls, including found property reports on East Main Street and North Court Street, a vandalism report on Cedar Heights Road, and a fraud complaint on East Ohio Street. Some incidents resulted in reports being taken, while others were resolved without further action.

In the afternoon and evening, police investigated a suspicious vehicle on Walnut Street, conducted multiple well-being checks, and responded to a threats and harassment complaint on Eva Drive.

A domestic trouble call on Watt Street resulted in a report being taken, and later in the evening officers handled a warrant-related incident on North Court Street.

The department noted that several calls were cleared after officers were unable to locate individuals involved or found no issues upon arrival.
