Trailer Fire in Ross County Leaves One Injured; Emergency Crews on Scene

ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Emergency responders are on the way to a trailer fire reported Friday afternoon in the 35000 block of State Route 50, where at least one person has suffered smoke inhalation.

The fire was reported around 3:30 p.m., and early information indicates a man was seen running back into the smoke-filled trailer to rescue his dog. Witnesses told 911 dispatchers that when he emerged, he was coughing and gagging, prompting concerns of significant smoke exposure.

Fire and EMS units are currently responding to the scene, and officials are urging the public to avoid the area while crews work to contain the fire and assist those involved.
