Chillicothe Police Respond to Multiple Incidents Across the City on November 29CHILLICOTHE, OH — November 30, 2025

Chillicothe Police were kept busy throughout Saturday, November 29, responding to a wide variety of calls ranging from disorderly conduct and drug overdoses to burglary and traffic incidents, according to the department’s Daily Media Report.

The first call came just before 2 a.m., when officers were dispatched to the Ross County Jail lobby on North Paint Street for a report of a disorderly and intoxicated individual creating a risk of harm. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Minutes later, at 1:52 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted in the area of State Route 772 and Patton Hill Road for a vehicle with a taillight out. Police noted that the investigation remains active.

At 2:09 a.m., officers responded to the Pilot Gas Station on East Main Street for a reported drug overdose. A report was taken, and no additional details were released.

Around 3 a.m., police were dispatched to Ewing Street regarding an assault. The case remains under investigation.

Late morning and early afternoon calls included two drug-related incidents—one on University Drive and another on Madison Avenue—where officers documented possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Shortly after 1 p.m., police were called to Belleview Avenue for a non-criminal complaint. That was followed by a hit-skip crash reported on East Main Street at 1:46 p.m. and another traffic-related call on North Bridge Street minutes later.

At 3:40 p.m., officers responded to a breaking and entering report at a home on South Hickory Street. The investigation continues.

A second overdose call of the day came at 5:11 p.m. at the Chillicothe Fire Station on East Water Street, where officers documented disorderly conduct involving intoxication along with drug-related concerns.

Just after 7 p.m., officers handled a non-injury crash at Safford Avenue and Orange Street. A citation was issued at the scene.

The evening concluded with two more incidents: a shoplifting report on River Trace Lane at 9:41 p.m. and a dog bite on Lillie Street at 9:58 p.m. A summons was issued in the dog bite case, and the report was forwarded to the Ross County Dog Warden.

In total, police handled sixteen calls for service on November 29. Several investigations remain open.
