
CIRCLEVILLE — The Circleville Police Department responded to 103 calls for service between November 21 and November 23, 2025, ranging from extra patrols and alarm drops to domestic disputes, traffic crashes, warrants, and several fire-related assists.
Much of the activity occurred in the early morning hours on November 21, when officers conducted a series of extra patrols across North Court Street, East Main Street, Clark Drive, Edgewood Drive, West Main Street, East Mound Street, Walnut Street, and East Circle Lane. All were found to be secure.
Throughout the day Friday, officers handled a variety of calls, including:
- Suspicious vehicles on Logan Street and Stoutsville Pike
- Alarm drops on Watt Street and Plum Street
- A breaking and entering report on South Court Street
- Two assault cases on Nicholas Drive and Lancaster Pike
- A warrant service on Island Road
- Multiple traffic incidents, including a non-injury crash on Lone Pine Road and property damage on Lancaster Pike
Circleville Fire Department also requested mutual aid assistance on State Route 188, Zane Trail Road, and Island Road.
Friday evening brought several crashes on Main Street, including an injury accident on East Main where a citation was issued. Officers also conducted routine business checks downtown.
By early Saturday morning, officers responded to trespassing reports on Second Avenue, a possible drunk driver on South Court Street, and a domestic disturbance on Mace Drive. A number of extra patrols continued throughout various neighborhoods.
Additional Saturday and Sunday highlights included:
- Civil problems on Ruth Avenue, Elm Avenue, and Second Avenue
- Multiple well-being checks, including calls on Logan Street, Turner Drive, and East Ohio Street
- Assault reports on Renick Avenue
- A warrant arrest on Walnut Street
- A domestic trouble report on East Franklin Street
- Fire calls, including a structure-related incident on South Pickaway Street
- Threats/harassment cases, including one arrest on South Court Street
- A fight report on West Main Street
On November 23, officers handled more domestic issues, juvenile complaints, violations of protection orders on East Mound Street and Sycamore Drive, an animal call on East Franklin Street, and a carbon monoxide check on South Court Street.
The weekend concluded with a disturbance on Half Avenue, several officer standbys, and a final extra patrol on North Court Street just before midnight.
Circleville Police continue to remind residents to report suspicious activity and remain alert as the holiday season begins.
