Chillicothe Police Respond to Series of Incidents on November 15

CHILLICOTHE — The Chillicothe Police Department handled a variety of calls Saturday, November 15, ranging from disorderly conduct and fraud to hit-skip accidents and drunk driving, according to the department’s daily media report.

Domestic Disturbance on Madeira Avenue

At 10:05 a.m., officers were dispatched to Madeira Avenue on a report of a domestic incident. Police say the investigation remains ongoing.

Identity Fraud Reported at LEC

At 10:46 a.m., officers met with an individual at the Law Enforcement Complex regarding a complaint of identity fraud. The case is under investigation.

Hit-Skip at North Bridge Street Business

Police responded to Lowe’s at 867 N. Bridge St. at 1:36 p.m. for a hit-skip crash on private property. No injuries were reported.

Multiple Theft Reports at Walmart

While investigating a shoplifting complaint at Walmart on East Main Street around 2:03 p.m., officers were notified of an additional theft incident. Both cases remain under review.

Protection Order Violation at Tiffin Towers

At 5:33 p.m., officers responded to 78 S. Walnut Street (Tiffin Towers) after a report that a protection order had been violated. The investigation is ongoing.

Disorderly Conduct Call Leads to Vehicle Theft Report

Police were dispatched to 33 W. Seventh Street at 5:52 p.m. for a disorderly intoxication complaint. The caller also reported a vehicle theft connected to the incident.

Vehicle Towed From East Second Street

At 7 p.m., officers responded to 56 E. Second Street where a red Kia Forte was blocking a business driveway. The vehicle’s registration was expired, and it was towed by ANS Towing. A parking citation was issued.

Weapons Threat, OVI Arrest on North Bridge Street

Around 8:32 p.m., officers responded to North Bridge Street for reports of a man making threats with a firearm. Details of any arrests have not yet been released.

Minutes later, at 8:35 p.m., officers were called to 438 N. High Street for a separate incident involving a driver suspected of being under the influence. That case remains under investigation.

Street Racing Complaint

At 9:30 p.m., police were dispatched to Five Below at 1251 N. Bridge Street after reports of reckless driving and possible street racing.

Disturbance on Madeira Avenue

A second disturbance on Madeira Avenue was reported at 9:31 p.m., involving an altercation between individuals at two neighboring residences. Police say the investigation is pending.

Officials logged 12 total incidents for the day.
