Chillicothe Police Handle Series of Incidents Including Thefts, Trespass, and Warrants

CHILLICOTHE, OH (November 8, 2025) — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a variety of calls Friday, November 7, ranging from theft and vandalism to missing persons and warrant arrests, according to the department’s daily media report.

The day began early when officers served a warrant at 28 N. Paint Street around 5:30 a.m. Later that morning, officers conducted traffic stops on N. Bridge Street for an unobstructed license plate violation and a separate citizen contact near Lowe’s.

Around 10:30 a.m., police were called to the Law Enforcement Complex (LEC) to take a report of telecommunications harassment, followed by a theft complaint later that afternoon involving a burglary on Fleet Street.

A failure to control crash was reported at 2:04 p.m., and officers investigated two cases of criminal mischief later in the afternoon — one near Woodbridge Avenue and Columbus Street, and another at Tiffin Towers on South Walnut Street, where a summons was issued.

Traffic enforcement continued at 255 Woodbridge Avenue, where officers stopped a driver for driving under suspension. Another crash investigation took place at Western Avenue and Elm Street just before 4 p.m.

Police were later dispatched to 1049 Columbus Street for a disorderly conduct complaint and Worthington Manor on Fairway Avenue for a theft report. A separate call for shoplifting and criminal trespass came from River Trace Lane, where the case remains under investigation.

Officers also responded to 209 Scioto Avenue for a report of a missing juvenile, and to 481 S. Douglas Avenue for another trespassing complaint.

The day concluded with a late-night traffic stop on N. Bridge Street near Stewart Road, during which officers initiated another warrant-related investigation.

The Chillicothe Police Department logged a total of 17 incidents on Friday, with several cases still under investigation.
