CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — The community is coming together in support of 3-year-old Brandon Allison Jr., who is facing the fight of his young life after being diagnosed with stage 4 Wilms Tumor, a rare form of childhood kidney cancer.

Brandon was diagnosed in June 2025 and has already undergone major surgeries, including the removal of a kidney, a 5-inch tumor, and part of his lung. He now faces many more months of chemotherapy and radiation as part of his treatment plan.

Friends and neighbors have launched efforts to support the Allison family as medical bills mount. One local parent, whose own son beat cancer at age 5, said helping the Allisons feels like a calling.

“This type of childhood cancer is so rare that I had yet to meet another Wilms fighter — until now, and he is right here in my community,” they said. “Medical bills should be the least of their worries when their 3-year-old is battling cancer.”

Community members are being encouraged to step forward, donate, and show the Allison family that Circleville takes care of its own. More info can be found on the go fund me page here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/battle-with-brandon-jr-against-childhood-cancer
