CIRCLEVILLE — The Logan Elm FFA Chapter kicked off the new school year with a cookout on August 22, held before the Braves’ home football game against Zane Trace.
The event gave students a chance to boost school spirit while welcoming new members into the chapter. Along with food, members enjoyed games of cornhole, badminton, and spikeball, creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere to start the year.
Chapter leaders say they are excited about a year packed with both fun and educational activities. The next big event will be a community cookout on October 3 at 5 p.m., before the home football game. Organizers are encouraging alumni to attend and share advice with current members.
While the Braves fell to Zane Trace 48-0 on the field, the cookout was considered a win for FFA as it strengthened connections among members and the wider school community.
