CIRCLEVILLE, OH — June 13, 2025
A 17-year-old has been charged following a crash last week that caused significant damage to a Circleville residence and resulted in minor injuries to the teen.

According to the Circleville Police Department, the incident occurred on Sunday, June 9, at approximately 2:23 p.m. The juvenile, a Circleville resident, was driving a 2005 Chevy Equinox eastbound on East Main Street when he attempted to turn into an alley near 443 East Main Street. Authorities say the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a nearby home.

Emergency personnel responded quickly to the scene. The teen sustained minor injuries and was transported to Berger Hospital for treatment. No one inside the home was reported injured, but the structure suffered serious damage from the impact.

During the investigation, police discovered the teen did not have a valid driver’s license. He has since been charged in connection with the crash.

The case remains under review as officials assess the extent of the damage and any further legal action.
