Chillicothe Police Respond to 14 Incidents on Saturday, Including Burglaries and a Hit-Skip

CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department (CPD) handled 14 incidents on Saturday, June 1, 2025, according to the daily media report printed on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 11:57 AM EDT. The day saw a variety of cases, ranging from burglaries and thefts to a public indecency report and juvenile complaints across Ross County.

The day began at midnight with a hit-skip incident at Roosters on 10 N Plaza Blvd, involving an obstruction of official business (PD-P2502889). At 1:28 AM, officers responded to a burglary on S Renick Ave (PD-P2502890), followed by a motor vehicle theft on Plyleys Ln at 5:50 AM (PD-P2502891). A juvenile complaint on the 800 block of N Bridge St at 11:20 AM was resolved and referred to South Central Ohio Job and Family Services (PD-P2502892). At 11:57 AM, a drug-related complaint involving possession of drug abuse instruments and a warrant was reported on Lincoln Ave (PD-P2502893).

The afternoon included a theft report at 1203 W M Trotter Dr at 3:19 PM (PD-P2502895), a public indecency case at 47 N Bridge St at 3:38 PM (PD-P2502894), and a domestic dispute on the 600 block of Oneida Rd at 3:59 PM, which was resolved (PD-P2502896). A hit-skip incident originating at Walmart on River Trace was reported on S Hickory St at 5:16 PM (PD-P2502897).
