FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH — May 7, 2025 — Authorities are investigating a grim discovery in Franklin County after a red Ford F-150 was pulled from a body of water near 9224 Intermodal Court earlier today. A body was found inside the vehicle, and investigators have now determined it is Darlynn Buehler, a 58-year-old Pickaway County woman who has been missing since April 1.
Buehler was last seen around 6:30 p.m. on April 1 by coworkers at her job near Thoroughbred Drive in Columbus less than a mile from where this vehicle was found. She was reported missing by family and friends on April 5, after she failed to return home and could not be reached for more than 24 hours. Since her disappearance, there had been no communication from her to family, friends, or her employer.

Law enforcement officials from both Franklin and Pickaway counties were on scene, and the investigation is ongoing. The identity of the person found in the vehicle has not been officially confirmed, and the cause of death is yet to be determined.
Authorities have not released any additional information at this time.
