LOCKBOURNE – A church just minutes from Pickaway county is offering something a little unique this season to celebrate religiously in the middle of a pandemic.
All weekend long (December 11 -13) actors and some farmyard pets will perform a live nativity scene from 630 pm to 8 at the Capital City Church located at 464 Rathmell Road Lockbourne Ohio.
Christmas Nativity is one of the most recognizable symbols of the Christmas season. Symbolizing the night of the Birth of Jesus. The scene usually consists of items that would have been there during the birth, Christ in a manger, his mother Mary, Joseph, shepherds, angels, three wise men, and usually some farm animals.
