CHILLICOTHE, OH — Visitors planning a trip to Chillicothe and Ross County now have a new resource to help guide their experience with the release of the 2026 Official Ross County Visitors Guide, announced by the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB).
The guide serves as a comprehensive snapshot of the region, highlighting Ross County’s rich history, vibrant downtown, outdoor recreation opportunities, local dining scene, lodging options, and a full lineup of annual events. Designed as a key marketing tool, the publication helps attract leisure travelers, group tours, and travel planners by showcasing the authentic experiences that make Ross County a distinctive destination.
Beginning in 2026, the Visitors Guide will move to an annual publication schedule, transitioning from its previous biennial format. CVB officials say the change will allow the guide to better reflect current attractions, events, and experiences, ensuring travelers receive the most accurate and up-to-date information when planning their visits.
“The Visitors Guide is one of our most important marketing tools, and Great Lakes Studios has done an excellent job capturing the authentic Ross County experience,” said Melody Young, Executive Director of the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau. “From showcasing what’s happening to highlighting the places and events that make our community unique, the guide is designed to inspire visitors to stay longer, explore more, and truly connect with our destination.”
The 2026 Visitors Guide will be distributed widely at travel and trade shows, Ohio and regional travel information centers, and through visitor information requests from travelers and groups. Locally, printed copies are available at the Visitors Bureau, area attractions, lodging facilities, and partner locations throughout Ross County.
A digital version of the 2026 Official Ross County Visitors Guide can be viewed online at VisitChillicotheOhio.com. Printed copies are also available at the Ross-Chillicothe CVB office, located at 230 N. Plaza Blvd. in Chillicothe.
