HARDIN COUNTY – Two Officers went above and beyond their call of duty when they rescued a Eagle on September 12, 2020.

Deputies Woltz and Deputiy Carey helped with a injured Bald Eagle during a roadside rescue, according to the Hardin County Sheriffs office.


“Officers going above and beyond the normal daily rountines to save an injured bald eagle,” said, Crows Hollow Wildlife care on facebook,” A huge thank you to Hardin County Sheriffs office for assisting with this beautiful bird. It was immediately apparent the officers have great copassion for animals and we are always grateful for the help and safety they provide during roadside rescues.”
