Tigers Cancel Fridays Game Due to OHSAA Action

CIRCLEVILLE – Last week Circleville High School cancelled a rival football game against Teays Valley when news of a COVID-19 positive person had come into contact with the team during a scrimmage. At that time they did not have a positive case within the school.


Due to rules from OHSAA this year due to COVID-19 Circleville City Schools is required to have a waiting period for kids exposed to a positive case and now due to that rule they do not have enough players to play against this weeks match up against Hamilton Township.




In a statement from the school they expect to get back on track with the season schedule soon and finish the rest of the season, “on a strong note.”
