Teays Valley Students Place High in Events

Congratulations to Teays Valley High School students Kellen Horvath, Makayla Robinson and Nathan Videkovich. They competed with several other schools in the District 7 FFA public speaking contest on February 12 at Amanda Clearcreek. Videkovich placed 1st in the creed contest, Robinson placed 1st in the beginning prepared division and Horvath placed 5th in the extemporaneous contest. Robinson and Videkovich will be representing Teays Valley and District 7 at the State public speaking contest on March 7. "The Teays Valley FFA is proud of the hard work and dedication shown by Kellen, Makayla and Nathan. Their success is a direct result of the time and effort they have put in, both in and out of the classroom," TVHS ag teacher Shawna Murlin said.
