Teays Valley Educational Foundation Awarded Grant For Digital Media Class

PICKAWAY – The Teays Valley Educational Foundation awarded a grant to Teays Valley High School technology teacher Brian Barnett for $2,365 to purchase equipment for the digital media class, including two new Sony camcorders.

“Thank you, Educational Foundation, for allowing the Teays Valley digital media class to purchase cameras in order to expand our project ability. The cameras will help with producing commercials for use with our new digital scoreboards, the videoing of various activities and meetings at Teays Valley, including use in the various classrooms, departments and administration needs,” Barnett said. “The hands on experiences students will gain by planning, directing, shooting and editing various media projects while promoting activities and programs critical to Teays Valley’s ongoing mission, allow students to gain real world experiences.”
