Mildred I. VanHoose, 90, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Zusman House in Bexley.
She was born Nov. 6, 1924, in Esco (Pike County), Kentucky, the daughter of Sidney and Ida Missouri (Buchanan) Tackett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Douglas VanHoose in 1983; son, Keith VanHoose; daughter, Doris Duffy; granddaughter, Tracy; and six siblings.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Glitt of Lancaster, Carolyn (Tom) Smith of Circleville and Michele (David) Fuchs of Westerville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Per Mildred’s request, no visitation or services will be held.

Arrangements were made with Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, Circleville.
