The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Christopher J. Alton, 56, of Huston Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence. A pretrial hearing is set for Sept. 18.

– Jeffrey R. Blankenship, 27, of Delaware, pleaded guilty to menacing by stalking. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– David A. Caslin, aka “Stixx,” 44 of Caldwell, pleaded guilty to engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and trafficking in cocaine. He was sentenced to 11 years in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Holly S. Casto-Lemay, 23, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted trafficking in heroin. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Kyle R. Cockerham, 32, of Third Avenue, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to kidnapping and felonious assault. A pretrial hearing is set for Sept. 18.

– Bo T. Cross, 29, of Lancaster, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. She was sentenced to 10 months in state prison at Marysville.

– Hanley D. Davis, 23, of Walnut Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to non-support of dependents. A pretrial hearing is set for Sept. 18.

– Travis M. Faile, 31, of Duvall Road, Ashville, pleaded guilty to theft and forgery. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

Garret K. Gartin, 21, of Main Street, Darbyville, pleaded not guilty to voluntary manslaughter and reckless homicide. A pretrial hearing is set for Sept. 18.

– Matthew G. Halley, 36, of Columbus, pleaded not guilty to burglary, theft, breaking and entering, grand theft of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, possession of criminal tools and failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer. A pretrial hearing is set for Sept. 18.

– Harold S. Lightle, an inmate at Southeastern Correctional Institution in Lucasville, pleaded not guilty to complicity to illegal conveyance of items onto the grounds of a detention facility. A pretrial hearing is set for Sept. 18.

– Carl L. Lofton, 61, of Columbus, pleaded not guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property. A jury trial is set for Sept. 10.

– Matthew Kellough, 32, of East Mound Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Cody Z. Meade, 19, of Bulen Pierce Road, Lockbourne, pleaded guilty to improperly handing a firearm in a motor vehicle and illegal conveyance or possession of a deadly weapon indistinguishable from a firearm into a school safety zone. He was sentenced to 18 months in state prison (suspended) and three years of community control.

– Daniel S. Moody, 40, of Newark, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

James L. Osborn, 62, of Fairview Blvd., Circleville, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 17 months in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Paige L. Palmer, 52, of Crites Road, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to theft of drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for Sept. 18.

– Shannon Schwalbaugh, 40, of Elm Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. He was sentenced to 18 months in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Pamela S. Swift, 44, of Lancaster, pleaded guilty to three counts of trafficking in cocaine and one count of trafficking in heroin. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.
