Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Leonard R. Anderson III, 35, of Clinton Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Brittany N. Bensonhaver, 26, of Spruce Ridge Drive, South Bloomfield, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering. She was sentenced to three years of intervention and must pay restitution of $1,105.50.

– Jeffrey R. Blankenship, 26, of Delaware, pleaded not guilty to menacing by stalking and violation of a protection order. A pretrial hearing is set for June 12.

– Charles F. Carey Jr., 37, of Lancaster Pike, Circleville, pleaded guilty to grand theft. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison at Orient and must pay restitution of $4,771.

– Jonathan Colon, 33, of Chillicothe, pleaded not guilty to non-support of dependents. A pretrial hearing is set for June 12.

– Gwen A. Draise, 37, of Tarlton Road, Stoutsville, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of cocaine. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– David B. Hanshaw, 24, of state Route 188, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 14 months in state prison at Orient.

– Robert P. Irvin, 30, of Columbus, pleaded not guilty to possession of cocaine, possession of heroin and aggravated possession of drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for June 12.

– Elizabeth A. Jackson, 42, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. Her probation was continued and she must serve 30 days in the county jail.

– Travis R. Kellough, 25, of East Mound Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of heroin. He was sentenced to 14 months in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Matthew A. Kennedy, 30, of Princeton Street, Ashville, pleaded not guilty to possession of heroin. A pretrial hearing is set for June 12.

– David Lewis, 23, of Town Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. He was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail.

– Jessica L. McLaughlin, 26, of Highland Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. She was sentenced to four years in state prison at Marysville.

– James M. Ratliff, 22, of Pleasant Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to three counts of trafficking in heroin. He was sentenced to two years in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Heath Z. Rowland, 28, of Mowrer Road, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control, possession of cocaine and possession of heroin. He was sentenced to two years in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Shannon W. Schwalbauch, 40, of Elm Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Brad A. Sexton, 23, of Ballah Road, Orient, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail and completion of the Alvis House program.
