Samuel L. Nicholson II, age 16, of Ashville, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017, in Ashville.
Sam was born on Feb. 27, 2001, in Circleville, and had attended Teays Valley High School.
Sam was preceded in death by grandmother, Barbara Jane Nicholson.
Sam is survived by mother, Jennifer Lynn Climer Castle (Jason North) of Ashville; father, Samuel L. Nicholson I of Columbus; brother, Robert Hillis Castle (fiancé, Amanda Bush); girlfriend, Kirstin Ferguson; grandparents, Donald (Connie) Climer; niece, Addison Marie Lynn Castle; aunts and uncles, Laura Climer, Tracey Climer (Robert Williams), Donnie and Jessica Climer, Joey Climer (April Riser), Jakob Climer, Brian Muncy, John (Lisa) Nicholson, Mary Anne Nicholson (Floyd Keels) and Victoria Cagle; cousins, Little B. Muncy and Kelly Muncy; numerous other cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles; half-sister, Elisha Nicholson; and half-brother, Spencer Nicholson.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, with funeral service immediately following. Interment will be at Franklin Hills Cemetery in Lithopolis.
