April 15

– A resident in the 10000 block of U.S. Route 62 reported an unknown person used his personal information to file taxes. A report was taken on identity theft.

– A resident in the 9000 block of Welch Road, Orient, reported an unknown person used his personal information to file taxes. A report was taken on identity theft.

– A resident in the 13000 block of state Route 104, Ashville, reported an unknown person used his personal information to receive unemployment benefits. A report was taken on identity theft.

April 16

– A resident in the 5000 block of Dietrich Avenue, Orient, reported an unknown person used his personal information to file taxes. A report was taken on identity theft.

– A resident in the 24000 block of Sisk Road reported an unknown person used his personal information to file taxes. A report was taken on identity theft.

– A deputy was dispatched to the intersection at Cromley Road and Lockbourne Eastern Road on reports of a missing stop sign. The Pickaway County Engineer’s Office replaced the sign, and a report was taken on criminal mischief.

– A resident in the 26000 block of Morris Salem Road reported an unknown person used his personal information to file taxes. A report was taken on identity theft.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 14000 block of Walnut Creek Pike, Ashville. The scene checked OK.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 5000 block of Steven Drive, Orient. Everything checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on property on Caroline Court, Circleville.

– A deputy was dispatched to check a residence in the 24000 block of Huber Hitler Road, Circleville.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 17000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 21000 block of Pherson Pike, Williamsport.

April 17

– Deborah P. Mitchell, 52, of Kingston, was arrested for possession of drug abuse instruments after deputies responded to the report of a sick female in the 25000 block of U.S. Route 23.

– A caller in the 19000 block of Whiteside Road, Mt. Sterling, reported criminal trespassing in a vacant residence. Nothing appeared to be missing.

– Adam S. Holt, 30, of Columbus, and Jon J. Frances, 35, of Columbus, were arrested at Walmart for theft.

– Deputies responded to a reported death in the 10000 block of Kingston Whisler Road, Kingston.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on South Court Street, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 7700 block of Mound Street, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 24000 block of U.S. Route 23, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person at Winchester Road and Bell Station Road in Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on Reynolds Road, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 17000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to reports of a suspicious person in the 19000 block of Corkwell Road, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 24000 block of U.S. Route 23. The property was taken to the sheriff’s office and placed into evidence for safekeeping.

– A deputy responded to reports of a hit-skip property damage accident on Mantle Road where an unknown vehicle went off the side of the road, striking a mailbox and a sign.

– Danny Ray Bentley, 56, of Portsmouth, was arrested on a warrant of indictment on the original charges of two counts of possession of cocaine.

– Kenneth E. Holton II of Lockbourne was arrested on a warrant for the original charge of possession of drug abuse instruments.

– Shannon W. Schwalbauch of Circleville was arrested on a warrant on the original charge of theft.

– David Lewis of Circleville was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation for the original charge of receiving stolen property.

April 18

– Christina M. Arthur, 41, of Lockbourne, was arrested for OVI and endangering children on U.S. Route 23 north of South Bloomfield. She is accused of driving while intoxicated with her two children in the vehicle.

– A resident in the 900 block of Tarlton Road reported an unknown person damaged his mailbox. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 4000 block of Duvall Road, Ashville, reported someone kicked in the back door of her residence, but nothing appeared to be missing. A report was taken on criminal trespassing.

– A resident in the 5000 block of U.S. Route 22 West reported an unknown person stole several items from the yard and then broke into his barn and took items. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 16000 block of Walnut Creek Pike, Ashville, reported problems with her 13-year-old son. The juvenile was arrested and charged as an unruly child.

– A resident in the 5000 block of state Route 762, Ashville, reported she chased a suspect outside of her residence and was hit in the back of the head by an unknown subject. A report was taken on assault.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property at the Mackey Ford Wildlife area, Lockbourne. The deputy disposed of the property.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on property in the 6000 block of state Route 56 East, Circleville. The subjects left the area prior to the deputy’s arrival.

– A deputy responded to a property damage accident on Victorian Drive, Commercial Point.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 5000 block of Dietrich Avenue, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a property damage accident on Walnut Creek Pike at Dunkel Road.

– A deputy responded to reports of a disabled vehicle and found property on U.S. Route 22 at Kinderhook Road. The property was taken to the sheriff’s office and placed into evidence for safekeeping.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 9000 block of Winchester Road, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 16000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to reports of a gun discharged on Reynolds Road, Ashville. No subjects or vehicles were found.

– Randall Writsel, 56, of New Holland, struck a deer while traveling on Crownover Mill Road. No injuries were reported.

– Douglas Donohew, 49, of Williamsport, struck a deer while traveling on Crownover Road. No injuries were reported.

– A 17-year-old juvenile advised she swerved to avoid a large animal that ran in front of her on Federal Road and struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported.

April 19

– A resident in the 1400 block of South Court Street reported an elderly man gave a sexual gesture to his 9-year-old daughter. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– Anity G. Doty, 26, of Circleville, was arrested for theft at Walmart.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property at Matville Road and state Route 316, Orient. The property was taken to the sheriff’s office and placed into evidence for safekeeping.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 8000 block of Forsythia Lane, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a juvenile complaint on Yates Street, Williamsport.

– A deputy responded to reports of a damaged mailbox in the 2600 block of North Court Street, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person on Barnes Avenue, Circleville.

– Amanda Christman, 18, of Stoutsville, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when she struck a vehicle driven by Kelsey Matthews, 21, of Circleville, on state Route 56.

April 20

– A resident in the 14000 block of state Route 104, Ashville, reported an unknown person broke a window out of the garage door on his shop and gained entry. Numerous tools were stolen. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A deputy responded to reports of an unruly child at McDowell Middle School on Tarlton Road.

– A resident in the 8000 block of Trimmer Road reported an argument with a sibling. No charges were filed.

– A South Central Power employee reported a resident in the 4000 block of Duvall Road turned on electric service that had been shut off. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 14000 block of state Route 104, Ashville, reported an unknown person broke a door wing on a truck and stole a GPS. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– A resident in the 12000 block of U.S. Route 62 reported her boyfriend stole the catalytic converter from a vehicle and attempted to sell it. The suspect will be summoned to court for theft.

– A deputy responded to an activated alarm in the 1600 block of Warner Huffer Road, Circleville. The scene checked OK.

– A deputy responded to reports of found property in the 1000 block of Lancaster Pike, Circleville. The property was taken to the sheriff’s office and placed into evidence for safekeeping.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 13000 block of Guy Road, Orient.

– A deputy responded to reports of harassment or threats in the 6000 block of Ludwig Dresbach Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 17000 block of Five Points Pike, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 10000 block of U.S. Route 62.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a juvenile in the 4000 block of Ashville Fairfield Road, Ashville.

– Brian Michael Kitchen, 23, of Circleville, was arrested on three warrants: a warrant of indictment for the original charges of two counts of possession of heroin; a violation of probation for the original charge of trafficking in heroin; and a warrant for the original charge of receiving stolen property.

– Erica D. Moretti, 26, of Ashville, was arrested on a warrant of indictment from Pickaway County Common Pleas Court on the original charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity with specification, trafficking in cocaine with specification, trafficking in cocaine and three counts of trafficking in heroin.

– Tony L. Nibert, 38, of Orient, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation on the original charge of theft.
