Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Jonathan A. Barr, 25, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering, burglary and two counts of theft. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Danny R. Bentley, 56, of Portsmouth, pleaded not guilty to two counts of possession of cocaine. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– Jesse M. Coy, 39, of London, pleaded guilty to forgery and receiving stolen property. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Serena M. Embry, 35, of Duvall Road, Ashville, pleaded not guilty to aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– Michael S. Eversole, 27, of Atwater Avenue, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to possession of heroin and possession of cocaine. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– Alicia B. Farleigh, 21, of Spangler Road, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to illegal manufacture of drugs and aggravated possession of drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– Michael N. Farleigh, 25, of Chillicothe, pleaded not guilty to illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– Jeffrey J. Frey Jr., 26, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to felonious assault. He was sentenced to four years in state prison at Orient.

– Chelsea N. Funk, 23, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. She was sentenced to 12 months in state prison at Marysville.

– Charles R. Gilliam II, 20, of Graham Drive, Orient, pleaded not guilty to intimidation of an attorney, victim or witness in a criminal case. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– Billy J. Greeno, 52, of Miller Avenue, Ashville, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– Robert L. Hill Jr., 42, of South Water Street, Williamsport, pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated possession of drugs. He was sentenced to three years of intervention and 30 days in the county jail.

– Erica D. Moretti, 26, of West Main Street, Ashville, pleaded not guilty to engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in heroin. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– Kevin C. Pennington, 33, of Faye Avenue, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to grand theft. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.

– David L. Perkins, 30, of North Court Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to three years of intervention.

– Kenny J. Williamson, 32, of Logan, West Virginia, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– William R. Young Jr., 37, of Five Points Pike, Williamsport, pleaded not guilty to breaking and entering and theft from the elderly. A pretrial hearing is set for May 8.
