April 21

– A 911 caller advised of a fight at the Fast Lane Marathon station on East Main Street. One party fled in a vehicle westbound on Mound Street. Officers on the scene advised mace and a stun gun had been deployed prior to their arrival. A medic was requested for decontamination. A report was taken for disorderly conduct by fighting.

– A caller in the 500 block of East Franklin Street requested a squad for a male involved in a fight at the Fast Lane Marathon station and decontamination for mace in his eyes. The Circleville Fire Department handled the scene.

– A resident in the 1000 block of Lynwood Avenue reported she lost a camera at Walmart on South Court Street.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the area of West Corwin and South Scioto streets.

– A resident in the 100 block of Rustic Drive reported an unknown person dumped trash at the location. The officer made contact with the caller to see what items had been dumped. No report was taken.

– A resident in the 600 block of Dunkel Road reported a vehicle was stolen from his driveway. A report was taken.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at PBS Animal Health on U.S. Route 23 South. The scene checked OK.

– A 911 caller advised he was driving a tractor trailer on Lancaster Pike at Nicholas Drive and had to back up in the roadway, backing up traffic. The roadway was cleared.

– John P. Sutton was arrested on a warrant through the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office at his home in the 100 block of Cottage Hill Lane.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 1300 block of Eastwood Drive. The scene checked OK.

– An officer assisted with a disabled vehicle at Nicholas Drive and state Route 188.

– A caller reported her employer’s vehicle tire was slashed in the 200 block of North Court Street. A report was taken on criminal damage.

– Officers responded to a report of a property damage accident in the parking lot at Subway on North Court Street.

– A resident in the 800 block of Maplewood Drive reported a known subject was at the home stealing property. A report was taken on a domestic dispute. Narcotics and paraphernalia were recovered at the scene.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of Third Avenue. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 600 block of Clinton Street requested to speak to an officer regarding a civil issue. She was advised on requesting a standby while property was returned.

– Berger Hospital reported they would be performing a fire drill at the hospital.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident in the area of Clark Drive and Nicholas Drive.

– A caller reported two juveniles were on opposite sides of the street on North Court Street near Herald Square throwing rocks over passing cars. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

– An officer performed a standby in the 600 block of Clinton Street. No issues were reported.

– A caller reported finding a syringe in the parking lot in the 400 block of Town Street. Officers located and disposed of the item.

– An officer responded to reports of a property damage accident in the area of Route 188 at Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park. The officer advised there was no accident. The caller hit a pothole and damaged the rim on the vehicle.

– A resident in the 200 block of Timberline Drive reported an unknown caller left threats on her answering machine. The officer advised it was the wrong number, and no threats were made.

– A caller reported a minor accident in the area of Court Street north of High Street. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 1100 block of South Court Street reported a known subject drove by and was yelling at her through the window threatening to damage her car. Extra patrol was requested. An officer later requested a call slip for a report on menacing.

– A resident in the 100 block of Villa Drive reported finding a vehicle registration in her yard. The document was returned to its owner.

– A resident in the 100 block of Barry Drive reported a male attempting to force a female to drive him to an ATM. The officer advised the vehicle was parked and unoccupied, and he was unable to locate the male subject.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Aldi on U.S. Route 23 South. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 100 block of Barry Drive requested to speak with an officer about a male harassing her. She stated she locked herself in the house because he was driving around the area. The officer advised the original incident happened outside the city limits. She was referred to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.

– A resident in the 300 block of Meadow Lane reported a known female had been given permission to use her vehicle but was now refusing to give it back. A report was taken. The subject was later discovered in the vehicle during a traffic stop on Maplewood at Harrison. The vehicle was returned to its owner.

– A resident came to the police station to report a set of missing vehicle keys.

April 22

– An officer reported a vehicle in the parking lot and an open door at the Dairy Shed on Kingston Pike. The officer made contact with a male who was doing work at the location. The scene checked OK.

– A resident on Claire Court reported an open garage door and a vehicle in the driveway at a neighboring residence. Officers made contact with the owners, and the scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Circle Auto on East Franklin Street. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 200 block of West Corwin Street reported someone had spit on her car for the past couple of days. Extra patrol was requested.

– A resident came to the police station to report a possible case of identity theft. A report was taken.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of Lee Court after a caller reported leaves being piled behind his grandmother’s residence and finding unclaimed property in the back yard.

– A resident in the 100 block of Barry Drive reported a suspicious male across from her home. The officer made contact with the male, who checked OK.

– An employee at Berger Hospital reported a female patient recently brought in for seizure activity had gone missing and still had an IV in her arm when she left. The hospital requested she return so they can remove the IV. Officers were unable to locate the patient.

– A 911 caller reported a male going through the parking lot at Kroger on Lancaster Pike lifting door handles on cars. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– Officers responded as mutual aid for the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office for an employee at TriMold with a possible head injury. The victim was transported to Berger Hospital by Circleville EMS.

– A caller reported a vehicle was making frequent stops in the roadway on Clark Drive at Maumee Drive, and they were worried for others’ safety. The officer advised the driver was OK, just looking for an address.

– Julian L. Russell, 34, of Chesapeake, was arrested for falsification in the area of Lowery Lane after a caller reported several people fighting in the area with baseball bats in hand.

– A resident in the 600 block of Hawthorne Drive reported hearing a gunshot outside of his home, and a neighbor advised he heard the same thing. Officers were unable to locate the source.

– A caller reported a male stumbling across the roadway near Sutherlands on Lancaster Pike. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A resident in the 200 block of Walnut Street reported her husband was throwing items in the home. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident in the 300 block of Town Street reported someone broke into her house and stole her kids’ tablets and her medication. A report was taken on burglary.

– A caller from the Berger Hospital emergency room reported an older female had placed a young child in a vehicle and then kicked the child. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle or anyone at the residence. The caller later advised the female came back to the ER without any children with her. The officer made contact with the female, who reported the child was being unruly and didn’t want to leave the hospital. She advised the child kicked her while getting into the vehicle. The scene checked OK.
