Jan. 17, 2017:

– A resident on Logan Street reported a runaway juvenile. A report was taken. The juvenile later returned home.

– A resident in the 100 block of Logan Street reported two people breaking into a vehicle across from her location. Officers advised no one was in the area, and the vehicle checked OK.

– The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office requested a city fire engine as mutual aid for Harrison Township on a bathroom fire on Ringgold Southern Road.

– A resident in the 500 block of East Mound Street reported someone broke the window on her neighbor’s vehicle. A report was taken on criminal damage.

– A caller advised of a vehicle alarm that had been going off for a few hours in the area of Stella or Ruth Avenue and High Street. Contact was made with the vehicle’s owner, and the scene checked OK.

– A caller in the 900 block of South Court Street reported multiple juveniles were running across Court Street near Twin Oaks Apartments, almost getting hit by vehicles and treating it like a game. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

– A caller reported a male subject was approaching vehicles and panhandling at Speedway on Lancaster Pike. The subject was advised to leave the area.

– A caller reported the Pumpkin Show booth for the Church of the Brethren on South Pickaway Street had been vandalized. A report was taken for damages.

– Steven Carlos Flowers, 18, of Amanda, was arrested on an active warrant from Fairfield County at Dollar Tree on Circleville Plaza Drive.

– A caller reported an elderly male subject who appeared to be lost in the 500 block of Garden Parkway. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A resident on Walnut Street reported a known subject was at the residence attempting to steal her property. The caller also stated the subject had already attempted to break her ankles. A report was taken on assault.

– A caller advised a subject previously involved in a domestic dispute was in the area of Walmart on a bicycle. An arrest was made.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 100 block of East High Street.

– An officer was flagged down at the Duke and Duchess station regarding a complaint of possible stalking. The party was advised to call reference the threatening family member.

– A caller advised of a vehicle accident she was involved in earlier in the day on South Pickaway Street, but the officer advised it was out of Circleville Police jurisdiction.

– A resident came to the police station to report someone was using her signature on documents. She was referred to the city law director.

– A resident came to the police station to report she purchased a vehicle from a male subject in town and was unable to get the title from him. Officers advised it was a civil problem.

– A caller on East Main Street reported a known subject was becoming aggressive with him by getting in his face and bumping his chest up against him. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A resident on Logan Street reported he was being threatened by a subject who was staying with him. A report was taken on menacing.

– An arrest was made during a domestic dispute in the 300 block of East Franklin Street in which a female was sitting on the hood of a car attempting to prevent a male from driving off. The male subject was reportedly driving back and forth trying to get the female off the car.

– Officers responded to a parking complaint on East Main Street.

– A caller from Hammel & McCrady Heating & Cooling reported they were being harassed by a known subject who is continually texting them and showing up at the business. A report was taken.

– A caller requested contact be made with a known subject to advise him of a death in the family. The message was delivered.

– A caller reported one of the YMCA members had a car window smashed out and his wallet stolen on the lot of the Y. A report was taken on theft.

– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle on Dunmore Road. The vehicle could not be located.

– A caller from OSU Wexner Medical Center requested officers contact a local resident on Lincoln Avenue regarding a family member that had been involved in an accident. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A caller in the 300 block of Town Street reported a PlayStation 3 had been stolen from his residence. A report was taken on theft.

Jan. 18, 2017:

– A resident in the 300 block of Edwards Road reported a gray and black book bag containing Magic cards and dice was stolen from a vehicle. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 100 block of Town Street reported her vehicle had been broken into, but she did not know if anything had been taken. Extra patrol was requested.

– A caller from Kroger reported they apprehended two male subjects and one female subject putting Powerade in their bags. A report was taken, and the juveniles were transported to the high school.

– A resident in the 200 block of West Mound Street reported some items were stolen from his residence. A report was taken on burglary.

– Officers performed a well-being check on an elderly subject on Highland Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the male, but Berger Hospital was contacted and advised the individual had been admitted.

– A caller reported a wallet found by the water tower on Nicholas Drive. The wallet was taken as recovered property to the police station.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 700 block of North Pickaway Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller from the Sunoco station in the 500 block of East Main Street reported the employee told her she did not pay for her gasoline when she did. The caller stated she would just pay it again and not return to the business, and no officer was needed.

– A caller reported she struck a pot hole the previous night in front of McDonald’s, and it damaged her tire. A report was taken on property damage. The service department was advised, and the officer advised it was becoming a sink hole.

– An employee from Rent To Own on Lancaster Pike reported a theft from the store by a known subject. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller in the 500 block of East Mound Street reported a possible identity theft. The officer advised there was no identity theft or scam, and no report was taken.

– A caller in the 200 block of East Main Street reported her father-in-law’s truck window was broken out and tools had been taken. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller on East Mound Street reported a male subject claiming to be selling Kirby vacuum cleaners attempted to enter her home without knocking but was deterred by her dogs. Officers were unable to locate the suspect or vehicle.

– A resident in the 100 block of South Court Street reported her medication was missing from her apartment. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller in the 500 block of Garden Parkway reported her 13-year-old daughter was threatened by a male student who claimed to have a knife while she was walking home from school. A report was taken on menacing.

– A resident in the 200 block of Lewis Road reported his bicycle had been stolen. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident on Hayes Court reported a couple of male subjects believed to be juveniles were at her residence looking for her 15-year-old son while carrying a crow bar. A report was taken on aggravated menacing.

– A caller reported a parking complaint in the 400 block of South Washington Street, but the vehicle left while officers were on the phone with the caller.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 400 block of Half Avenue. Officers advised it was a juvenile playing with a phone, and the scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to an injury accident on South Court Street.

– A resident in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike reported a noise complaint on a neighbor. No contact was made with the subject accused of making the noise.

– Officers responded to reports of a vehicle parked in an alley next to the residence on Elm Avenue that was occupied by two subjects “performing extracurricular activities.” The caller canceled the call and advised the parties had taken their activities elsewhere.

– Officers responded to reports of found property at Nicholas Drive and Lancaster Pike.

– The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office advised of a Rumpke truck on fire at the waste center. The call was handled by Rumpke and the Circleville Fire Department.

– Officers responded to an activated smoke alarm in the 300 block of Town Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a possible domestic dispute on Tower Court. The scene checked OK.

Jan. 19, 2017:

– A caller in the 100 block of Walnut Street reported a possible water main break. Information was obtained, the water company was advised, and the water was turned off.

– A resident in the 300 block of Barnes Avenue reported both of their vehicles had been ransacked and some items were missing. No report was taken, no theft occurred.

– A resident in the 200 block of West Mill Street reported she was letting her dogs back into the house and saw a man standing in the back yard dressed in all black. Her husband chased the subject away from the house. Officers advised they were unable to locate the subject.

– A caller on Logan Street reported she was awakened by what sounded like someone next door being thrown into a wall, and then a male and female began yelling. A report was taken on disorderly conduct by fighting.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call on Logan Street. Information was obtained.

– A resident in the 1200 block of Williams Drive reported she could smell smoke. The fire department handled the scene.

– An employee of Berger Medical on North Court Street reported a general fire alarm at the location. The fire department handled the scene.

– A caller on Logan Street reported a suspicious male outside the residence with a hammer running in and out of the apartment. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– Corey Loar was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop in the 300 block of Walnut Street.

– A caller on York Street reported he was visiting his girlfriend and daughter when a known subject started threatening him and throwing things while he had his baby in his arms. A report was taken on menacing.

– A caller on Parklawn Drive reported a known subject was setting another person’s clothing and belongings on fire. A report was taken on arson.

– A resident in the 200 block of Logan Street reported a known subject purposely busted out her window with a stick. A report was taken on vandalism.

– A caller from Kroger on Lancaster Pike reported a possible drunk driver had slept in the parking lot due to being intoxicated the night before, then purchased a large quantity of wine before leaving the parking lot. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A resident in the 200 block of East Franklin Street reported someone shot at the front window of his truck, possibly with a slingshot, and he had the metal object that cracked his windshield. A report was taken on vandalism to a vehicle.

– A caller in the 300 block of Walnut Street reported she had information regarding a known subject stealing from Kroger and living in his vehicle. Information was obtained.

– Officers responded to an activated fire alarm at Holiday Inn Express. The call was canceled by the employees, who advised it was accidental.

– A caller on South Scioto Street reported two junk vehicles behind the residence. Contact was made with the parties involved.

– A resident in the 100 block of Gale Court reported his 16-year-old daughter was assaulted on the corner on the way home from school. Dispatch also received a 911 call regarding what appeared to be rough-housing in the 300 block of Avon, which was believed to be related. A report was taken, and the subjects were advised to speak with the school resource officer for follow-up.

– The staff at Elsea’s Mobile Home Park requested an officer stand-by as they served no-trespass letters to subjects staying in a trailer who were not to be on the property. The stand-by was completed.

– A caller from Island Glow Tanning on Morris Road advised someone was trying to get in the back door of the business. She advised she put the deadbolt on, and she thought she heard them walk off. No subjects were located, and no damage was found to the building or the door. Extra patrol was requested.

– A resident on East Ohio Street reported a stolen wallet. A report was taken on theft.

– An employee at Rural King on U.S. Route 23 reported a theft in progress. The caller later canceled the call, advising they weren’t sure if the items were actually stolen.

– An employee at Berger Hospital requested to speak with an officer on a follow-up with a patient who left earlier in the day with an IV still in his arm. The subject had the opportunity to come back to have it checked and refused. Information was obtained.

– A Chillicothe Police officer requested officers attempt to contact a subject in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike regarding a theft that occurred at the K-Mart store in Chillicothe. The officer advised it was a bad address.

– A caller reported a male and female on Parklawn Drive were yelling and screaming at each other. All parties advised everything was OK.

– A caller from Speedway on Lancaster Pike requested officers check a suspicious vehicle parked behind the building. The vehicle left prior to the officer’s arrival.

– A caller on Cedar Heights Road reported a domestic dispute had occurred earlier, but the male subject already left. A report was taken.

– A caller on Gumm Place reported two subjects were in the parking lot and appeared to be in a heated argument. Nothing was found.

– A resident in the 700 block of South Court Street reported telecommunications harassment.

– A caller reported he stopped by the Sunoco station in the 500 block of East Main Street and found all the lights on and ice boxes unlocked, but there was no one in the store. Officers advised the scene checked OK.

– Officers made an arrest for possession of drugs during a traffic stop in the 200 block of East Ohio Street.
