Jan. 14, 2017:

– Officers responded to a domestic dispute on North Court Street.

– An officer marked out with an unoccupied vehicle at Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park and determined it was the same vehicle parked near the park two days before. Information was obtained.

– A caller from Berger Hospital reported an intoxicated male with a bad cut on his wrist had come in but then left and was running around the helicopter pad saying he was James Bond. The subject was located and released to a sober party.

– A caller reported a male subject on South Court Street near Lighthouse Baptist Church appeared to be very agitated, walking southbound on Court Street and talking to himself. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A caller reported a reckless driver southbound on Nicholas Drive from Northridge Road. The vehicle was located on the lot of the YMCA, and the driver was advised regarding his driving habits.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident at Northridge and Nicholas Drive.

– Officers responded in assistance to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office for a reckless driver on Kingston Pike. The vehicle could not be located.

– Officers responded to an activated fire alarm at Wyngate Senior Living on Northridge Road. The fire department determined it was a false alarm.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident near McDonald’s on South Court Street.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident in the 200 block of East Main Street. One male subject was taken into custody, and reports were taken on OVI and disorderly conduct by intoxication.

– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call on Tower Court. A report was taken on a domestic dispute, and both parties were advised of disorderly conduct.

– A caller was described as “hysterical” stating she had been assaulted on Alma Avenue by a female who took off in a black truck with a group of people. A report was taken on assault.

– A caller reported a possible drunk driver at Speedway on Lancaster Pike. The vehicle and occupants checked OK.

– A caller in the 300 block of Walnut Street reported females in the alley behind the residence were claiming multiple male subjects threatening their lives. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– A resident in the 200 block of Villa Drive reported multiple electronics had been stolen from her residence. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller in the 600 block of East Main Street reported a known subject had threatened to smash the cars on the lot. Extra patrol was requested.

– A caller reported a vehicle had pulled into Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park near the restrooms, and he didn’t see it come back out. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– A caller on East Franklin Street reported an aggressive dog at her residence that belongs to a neighbor across the street. A message was left for the dog warden on the after-hours emergency line.

Jan. 15, 2017:

– Officers performed a well-being check on West Mound Street. The subject checked OK.

– A 911 caller reported a fight on the street in front of the Wit’s End bar on West Main Street. A report was taken on disorderly conduct, and a patient refused transport to the hospital.

– An anonymous caller advised a lot of noise coming from a neighbor’s residence on Gumm Place. The scene checked OK.

– Contact was made with a resident on Town Street after the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office discovered a vehicle abandoned on Ashville Fairfield Road. The resident advised the vehicle was disabled and had not been stolen.

– A resident in the 500 block of East Main Street reported a dog in a back yard with a black trash bag tied around its head. Officers determined it was wearing a cone around its neck, and the scene checked OK.

– A caller on Meadow Drive reported her two dogs had gone missing overnight, and if they were found she requested to be contacted. Information was obtained.

– A caller in the 800 block of Atwater Avenue reported she found a dog and had it in her garage. The humane society and dog warden were notified.

– A caller reported a reckless driver in the 500 block of East Main Street. The vehicle was located, and the driver was advised on driving habits.

– A caller from Tractor Supply on U.S. Route 23 reported two males ran out of the store after putting unknown items in their pants. No report was taken until they determined what had been stolen.

– A caller in the 400 block of East Ohio Street reported a known subject was causing a disturbance. Officers were unable to locate the subject, and the caller advised she would call again if the subject returned.

– Officers responded to an activated fire alarm at Holiday Inn Express. The fire department determined it was accidental.

– Officers responded to an activated fire alarm at Wyngate Senior Living on Northridge Road. The alarm company canceled the call as accidental.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm on Avon Drive. The homeowner advised it was accidental.

– A 9-year-old in Ohio Heights called 911 to advise his father was scaring him. Officers determined the child had been yelled at for being too loud. The scene was cleared without a report.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm on Villa Drive. The scene checked OK.

– A 911 caller reported a male subject had stolen tools from Rural King on U.S. Route 23. A report was taken on theft, but the subject could not be located.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Coughlin Automotive on U.S. Route 23. The scene checked OK.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 300 block of East Mound Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller from Community United Methodist Church on North Pickaway Street reported her son was being harassed by a known subject for the second time, and she requested a well-being check.

– The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office advised of a possible theft in progress at Dollar Tree on Circleville Plaza Drive. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A caller on East Mill Street requested an officer stand-by on their return home as a family member who had made threats against them was reportedly waiting for them there. The call was supplemental to an earlier report.

– A caller at Cornerstone Christian Church on North Court Street reported someone broke into her husband’s vehicle and took some items. A report was taken on theft. The officer then requested a separate report for damage to a vehicle at the same location, and a report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A 911 caller on Northridge Road advised he had various items taken from his jacket while at a church function. A report was taken on theft.

– An officer advised of a report for criminal damaging at Circleville Church of Christ on North Court Street.

– Officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 700 block of South Court Street.

– A caller on Walnut Street requested an officer due to a neighbor having a camera pointed at their residence. No report was taken.

Jan. 16, 2017:

– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Logan Street. The vehicle checked OK.

– Officers marked out with a suspicious vehicle in the Circleville High School parking lot. No report was taken.

– A caller advised he needed to go to Mace Drive to retrieve a purse for his wife who was currently in Berger Hospital. Officers confirmed the information with Berger, and the escort to retrieve the property was completed.

– A caller at the Holiday Inn Express reported a known subject was drunk and making threats to come to her work and get her bank card to buy beer. The caller called back to report the subject walked through the door demanding the bank card right after the officer left the scene. A report was taken.

– A caller reported a known subject was being disrespectful and causing a disturbance in the 100 block of Margaret Lane. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Berger Medical Building on North Court Street. Officers determined it was accidental.

– A resident came to the police station to report a known subject offered to help fix a disabled vehicle, then took off with the vehicle and a cell phone and hadn’t been seen since. A report was taken on a stolen vehicle.

– A caller on Northridge Road reported he located his coat that had been reported stolen from a church function in a different area of the church, but his wallet was missing out of it. Information was obtained.

– A caller on South Western Avenue reported a known subject had been evicted, but he was at the residence kicking the door down and taking items inside. The subject had paperwork showing his official eviction date was Jan. 23. The scene checked OK.

– A caller in the 300 block of Walnut Street reported juveniles were outside the residence banging on the windows and yelling at her. No report was taken. The caller then reported known subjects were outside yelling and arguing with her. A report was taken on menacing.

– A caller on East Main Street reported someone broke into the crawl space of a vacant residence. The scene checked OK.

– A caller on Villa Drive reported a juvenile walked into her residence without permission and may have taken something. The officer advised the juvenile and mother were advised to knock before entering.

– Officers responded to reports of an unruly juvenile in the 100 block of South Pickaway Street.

– James Gillilan was arrested on a warrant from the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office in the 100 block of Villa Drive.

– A 911 caller reported a physical altercation between a male and female subject in the 600 block of South Scioto Street. The caller stated she no longer needed an officer due to the problem subject leaving. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

– A caller in the 600 block of East Mound Street reported males were going door to door selling items. The subjects were advised to stop sales for the night and obtain a permit.

– The Ohio State Highway Patrol advised they were looking for a male subject in the area of Clinton and Half Avenue.

– A caller in the 100 block of Logan Street advised a subject was outside her residence messing with the door handle and trying to use keys to get inside the house. Extra patrol was requested.

– Two callers reported a fight between about four people in the 300 block of East Franklin Street. A report was taken on criminal mischief.

– Officers were called as mutual aid at the scene of a structure fire in the 18000 block of Ringgold Southern Road.
