Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Deonte D. Butler, 19, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to 36 months in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Jay L. Blazer, 37, of Chillicothe, pleaded not guilty to complicity to aggravated possession of drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Keith L. Carruthers, 23, of West Corwin Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison at Orient.

– Dustin Case, 33, of state Route 207, Mt. Sterling, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison (suspended), 30 days in the county jail and three years of community control.

– Krystal A. Clark, 38, of Stella Avenue, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to forgery. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Jill L. Crabbe, 36, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. She was sentenced to 18 months in state prison (suspended) and three years of community control.

– Robert E. Davis, 30, of Chippewa Drive, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to two counts of non-support of dependents. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Samuel D. Good, 35, of Hayesville Road, Kingston, pleaded not guilty to aggravated possession of drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Colton R. Ishmael, 22, of Randolph Street, Ashville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison at Orient.

– Pamela S. Jones, 36, of South Scioto Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to theft of unemployment benefits. She was sentenced to 12 months in state prison (suspended) and ordered to serve three years of community control and pay restitution of $4,796.

– Joshua D. Kinnaman, 36, of Crites Road, Circleville, pleaded guilty to theft and breaking and entering. He was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail and three years of intervention and must complete a program through a community-based correctional facility.

– Curt W. Knight, 28, of Somerset, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison (suspended) and three years of a community-based correctional facility program.

– Tyler L. Lowery, 18, of Island Road, Circleville, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. He was sentenced to 16 months in state prison (suspended) and three years of community control.

– Antwain McCathron, 36, of Caldwell, pleaded guilty to illegal conveyance of items into an institution. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison at Orient.

– Cody Z. Meade, 19, of Bulen-Pierce Road, Lockbourne, pleaded not guilty to improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and illegal conveyance into a school safety zone. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Kathryn A. Mitchell, 28, of Thornville, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs. She was sentenced to 12 months in state prison (suspended), 30 days in the county jail and three years of a community-based correctional facility program.

– Michael P. Moore, 41, of Kiefel Road, Laurelville, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Brian L. Pennington, 45, of Northview Court, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to felonious assault. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Christian P. Ruth, 29, of South Court Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Bob C. Smith Jr., 48, of North Court Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to non-support of dependents. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.

– Paul W. Turner, 58, of St. Paul Road, Ashville, pleaded not guilty to illegal manufacture of drugs and possession of marijuana. A pretrial hearing is set for April 17.
