Bernice L. “Pinky” Redman

Bernice L. “Pinky” Redman, 84, of Circleville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at Pickaway Manor.

She was born May 26, 1931, in Perry Twp., Pickaway County, the daughter of Isaac and Phoebe (Sparks) Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard E. Redman in 2000; sisters, Mary Potts, Violet Stevens and Daisey Brittlinger; and brothers, Ralph, Howard, Kenneth, Roy, Ray and Paul Hamilton.

Pinky was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and was a devout Christian woman. A devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her loving family: daughter, Linda Rauch; son, Randy Redman (Jackie Radabaugh); grandchildren, Glenn (Stephanie) and Chrissy; great-grandson, Austin; sisters, Hazel Woodward and Rosie (Bob) Winegardner; brothers, Ronnie, and Denny (Nancy) Hamilton; sister-in-law, Nancy Hamilton; special friends Darci (Kory) Valentine and James Collins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, where funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Chaplain Jim Ferrell will officiate. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at Forest Cemetery.
