Margaret “Peg” (Wuertz) Williams, age 98, of Hilliard, formerly of Upper Arlington, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017. Member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, Lytham Rd. She was a Hilliards High School graduate class of 1937. Preceded in death by husband Richard S. Williams, siblings Arthur Wuertz, Helen Weber, Ernest Wuertz, Florence Burns, Ada Rheinscheld and Clara Miller. Survived by loving children Linda (Ronald) Odom and Alan (Connie) Willbarger, grandchildren Tamra (Russell) Martin and Thomas (Juli) Willbarger, great grandchildren Sarah and Tess Willbarger, brother-in-law Kenny Helmick, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Family will receive friends Friday, September 1, 2017 from 6-8 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATOY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday, September 2, 2017 with visitation 1 hour prior to the time of service at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 2300 Lytham Rd, Columbus, OH 43220. In honoring Peg’s wishes, cremation will follow. Inurnment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
