Man Killed on Motorcycle on 33 in Lancaster After Teen Runs Stop Sign

LANCASTER – Some details have not come in yet on the deadly crash that took a 48 year old mans life in Lancaster last night.

What we do know according to Ohio State Highway Patrol is a collision between a car and a motorcycle happened around 8:36 pm last night when authorities said a teen driver failed to stop at the intersection of the exit ramp of US-33 and Coonpath road. Authorities pronounced Terry Morris, 48 year old motorcycle operator dead on scene that was riding a 2010 Harley Davidson.

According to State Highway Patrol the collision happened when the teen turned out of the off ramp in front of him when he was traveling east on Coonpath road. Morris rider a 41 year old female was transported to Grant Medical by Medical Helicopter. The 16 year old driver was treated for minor injuries at scene.

State Highway Patrol reported that neither of the individuals on the motorcycle were wearing helmets, and both teens in the vehicle were wearing seatbelts.

The crash is still under investigation.
