Logan OH- It all went down around 12:30 A.M on February 9th of 2020, as we watched an episode of Policing for Our Community by Logan Ohio Police live on Facebook.
The call came in that a suspect was fleeing officers, leaving New Straitsville and headed toward Logan. That’s when the officers of the Logan Police Department quickly caught up with the pursuit as one of the suspects was being detained.
The pursuit ended in Haydenville near the post office, where the suspects fled on foot. Officers quickly detained one of the suspects who had been injured as well as an officer due to a fall on an icey surface. One suspect is still on the run and officers have requested the assistance of the K9 unit. Ohio Highway Patrol,Logan Police, New Straitesville Perry Sheriff’s Department all participated in the pursuit.
