FLORIDA -A local man who left the area to pursue his dreams of being a meteorologist  has now been delayed due to weather to start his job here in Wilmington Ohio.

Nate McGinnis who currently works for National Weather in Jacksonville Florida is transferring to National Weather in Wilmington this week, actually according to his facebook post they had plans to leave tomorrow, but as most of you know theres a possible category 4 hurricane barreling down on Florida in the next couple of days.

McGinnis has spread the news that he has been asked to stay and ride the storm out and help with coverage until the weather is over, and of course being a good weatherman he probably wouldn’t want to miss it. So since he’s all packed up and moved out of his apartment, he will have to stay in a hotel for the next several days. At least his last days of work in Florida will be memorable.
