Lancaster Special Teams Bust Suspected Drug Home

On Thursday January 9, 2020, Major Crimes Unit Detectives with the assistance of the Lancaster Police Department’s SRT team executed two separate search warrants at 313 Harrison Ave. and 202 King Street in the City of Lancaster. A brief investigation was initiated after receiving numerous complaints of drug activity and recent overdose events occurring at the homes. Through this investigation Major Crimes Unit Detectives were able to verify that methamphetamine, and heroin containing the synthetic opiate Fentanyl were being used and sold from the residences.

Recovered during the search at 313 Harrison Ave was evidence of drug trafficking including scales and packaging materials, one .357 Caliber revolver, a 12-gauge shotgun, $3,220.00 in currency and approximately twenty-five (25 grams of methamphetamine. Arrested and taken to the Fairfield County jail from the Harrison Ave home was Joel Downour 26 of that same address. Downour is being held on a Felony 1 charge of trafficking in drugs. Additional charges are expected as the investigation is completed.

Recovered during the search at 202 King St was a small amount of methamphetamine, and evidence of drug trafficking including drug packaging materials. Arrested and taken to the Fairfield County jail from the King St. residence were Jennifer Robertson 41 of 202 King St. Lancaster on an outstanding warrant, and Pam Messer 57 of 202 King St on a Felony charge of drug possession. Additional charges are expected as the investigation concludes.
