LOGAN, OH – Conkles Hollow State Nature Preserve is closing as the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Natural Areas and Preserves begins construction to improve the parking area.
“Conkles Hollow is a truly magnificent place,” said ODNR Division of Natural Areas and Preserves Chief Jeff Johnson. “These improvements will allow even more visitors to safely access the area and experience it for themselves.”
The entrance off Big Pine Road will be widened to increase safety and improve traffic flow. Other upgrades include extending parking spaces to accommodate larger vehicles and doubling capacity for the parking lot.
Conkles Hollow State Nature Preserve will close for approximately 10 days beginning November 2, 2020.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience as we continue to improve your state nature preserve experiences.
