The family of Michael David Clark, 71, is sad to announce his passing on August 9, 2019. Mike took his life following a long battle with addiction and depression. Mike will always be remembered for his ability to walk into any room and make friends with everyone. His lifelong passions were fast cars, guitars, snow and water skiing, and a good debate. He was born on March 31, 1948, to parents Jack and Edna (Allen) Clark, and raised in Williamsport, Ohio. After marrying Nancy Wilcoxon in 1985, their daughter Kelsey Clark was born in 1990. Mike received his degree from Ohio Northern University in 1971 and was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He later became co-owner of the family business, Deercreek Auto & Truck Parts. He was a past President of Noon Rotary (1991-1992), a committee member of the Circleville Pumpkin Show, and a volunteer host of WOSU Auction 34. In recent years, Mike has enjoyed many wonderful experiences with college sweetheart Rosemary Stewart. Mike and Rosemary shared in their love of live music, good food, and traveling together. Mike is survived by his daughter, Kelsey, sisters, Sandy Wisecup (Gray Wisecup) and Dee Anne Wolfe (Bill Keller), and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents his brother, Mark Clark and brother-in-law Neil Wolfe. Family and friends are invited to join us for a Celebration of Mike’s Life on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at the Pickaway Country Club. Food and drinks will be provided. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), Hands of the Disabled, 210 Lancaster Pike, Circleville, or a charity of your choice.
